The Lights of Crapchester 2024

For the first time in more years than I care to remember, I give you another annual installment of the 'Lights of Crapchester', my ongoing chronicle of the Christmas lights to be seen on the streets of my home town.  I used to drive around the town and outlying area filming these while working.  As I no longer do that awful job, this time around, all of the footage was shot within walking distance of my house, (some are even taken on my street).  The wobbly camera work (unsteady cam?) is down to the fact that it all had to be shot guerilla style, as I was out walking - despite putting all this stuff outside of their houses for others to see, people can be surprisingly sensitive about having it filmed and photographed.

Anyway, here it is: the 2024  edition (although a couple of bits were actually shot in 2022 for an abortive attempt to revive this tradition).  I know from experience that most people won't bother watching the video, but what the hell, I enjoyed making it, so stick that in your festive pipe and smoke it!
